Requirements

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
  • CPA Part II or above (or equivalent professional qualification).
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably within an FMCG environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Sage, Odoo, or Zoho Books).
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
  • Process supplier invoices and customer receipts.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and the general ledger.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare payment vouchers and process supplier payments.
  • Reconcile customer and supplier accounts.
  • Assist in inventory costing, stock reconciliations, and stock movement analysis.
  • Support payroll preparation and statutory deductions.
  • Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  • Monitor petty cash and employee expense claims.
  • Ensure compliance with VAT, PAYE, and other statutory obligations.
  • Assist with external and internal audit activities.
  • Maintain proper filing of financial documents.
  • Perform any other finance-related duties assigned by the Finance Manager.
